The Outdoor Writers of Ohio Record Fish Committee officially confirmed that a 2.86-pound, 15.75-inch Lake Erie yellow perch caught by David Berg of Mentor, Ohio while fishing from the Fairport Harbor shoreline is Ohio's newest state record.
